Recent psa-request usage

This page is updated at irregular intervals; the last update was on Mon Jun 12 at 06:00:16. If the time plot doesn't end on that date, then your browser is probably using cached graphics files. Click on each plot in turn, and do a "Reload"; this page should then show the latest versions when you come back to it.

The first plot shows psa-request server usage over the last 30 days, during which time a total of 489 analyses were completed. A horizontal line shows the average daily rate of 16.3 over the whole period, while a dotted line shows a 7-day moving average that smooths over the weekly fluctuations; the server has noticeably less traffic over the weekend. (See also the Lost psa-request results page for reports of any extended outages.)

The second plot shows the same usage information as a function of the top one or two components of the domain name. ".edu" domains are classified by the last two domain name components (e.g. "bu.edu" part of "darwin.bu.edu"), while all others are classified by the top component only (e.g. "com" or "uk"). Most of the latter are international domains, which use the two-letter ISO3166 country codes. Defined this way, requests were processed for a total of 89 domains (53 .edu domains, 31 international domains, and 5 other top-level domains).

In order to avoid squeezing more domain names into the plot than can be conveniently read, all domains with 2 or fewer requests have been lumped together into a pair of "Other edu" and "Other" columns. This is the smallest threshold that keeps the total number of displayed domains under the width limit.
